Those Crazy Arceans

What a way to use a high class planet...

I was playing this with "normal" level Arceans and was wondering how they managed to get their cultural influence so strong. Two fully loaded influence star bases just inside their border barely made a dent in it.

I'm now in the final stages of that game and just flipped an Arcean planet.

A 700% manufacturing bonus, and a 300% manufacturing bonus, then he loaded it up with 18 Influence centers. No wonder!

I would have probably loaded this planet up with food, banking, and entertainment, myself.

The AI loads up on cultural centers when their planets are in danger of getting flipped - so any you take over via influence will be loaded with those building, naturally.

The AI will also sell buildings on a planet if it thinks you're going to take it over, so if you take a planet from the computer, it doesn't necessesarily have the same buildings on it as when it was in full use.

you had a planet with 700% do you know how rare those are? i would have loaded it with factories that planet
